1. How much does the pooper scooper service cost?
Cost of services is based on number of dogs, the last time your yard was scooped and the frequency of our visits. Services are billed monthly and you can pay online with MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express credit cards. Call us at 513-878-3994 or fill out the form for a FREE PERSONALIZED QUOTE!
2. Do I have to be home for the service?
NO, you do not have to be home while our technician cleans your yard. We can perform the service as long as we can access your yard. Please contact us at 513-878-3994 if you do have a locked gate or a code is needed for entrance.
3. What happens when the technician arrives?
When your technician arrives, they will scoop up and bag all pet waste. Next, your technician will shut your gate securely and remove all of the dog waste when they leave (unless transporting pet waste is against local ordinances in which case we will double bag it, tie off the bag and leave it wherever you would like such as in your outside trash can).
4. Can my dog be in the yard while Pet Butler is working?
We love dogs! If your dog is friendly with strangers and will allow us to clean the yard, feel free to leave your dog out while we clean your yard. However, if your dog is territorial or unfriendly, please keep your dog indoors until your service has been completed. We do not want to take any unnecessary risks, so please keep this important request in mind.
5. Should I unlock my gate?
Yes, gates must be UNLOCKED. For safety reasons, we will not climb or jump over any gates or fences. If your gate has a combination lock, please contact us at 513-878-3994 and inform us of the combination or passkey prior to your first service. If your gate is locked or blocked (or if your dog will not allow us to clean the yard), it may be necessary to charge for the service that could not be completed.
6. What if I have any questions related to my service, need to provide updated information such as a new pet, or if I need to notify Pet Butler that I’m moving?
If you have any questions related to your service, updates to your contact information, or if you are adding another dog to your family, let us know as soon as possible by calling us at 513-878-3994 and we will update your account.
7. How is my service day availability determined?
Our routing system determines the best day of service based on your address.
8. Does dog or yard size affect the cost for pet waste removal services?
Dog size does not matter. From Great Danes to Chihuahuas, we scoop it all and are up for the challenge. After your first visit, if applicable, Pet Butler will notify you if you have an “oversized yard”. Cost of poop scooping services is based on number of dogs, the last time your yard was scooped and the frequency of our visits.
9. Is there a first-time or new sign-up cleanup fee?
An Accumulated Waste Fee will be incurred if the yard has not been thoroughly cleaned within 1 week upon inspection at your first visit.
10. What if I want to move or skip a service day?
If you need to move or skip a service day, please call 513-878-3994, 48 hours before your service date. Whether you’re going on vacation or the dog won’t be home, we will pause service. We will scoop your yard on the next scheduled visit or when you let us know to continue service.
11. What happens if it rains, snows, or there’s inclement weather on my service day?
Pet Butler works in most conditions, but severe weather may delay or postpone service. For the safety of our employees, Pet Butler may delay service during severe conditions such as hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning, and dangerously hot or cold weather. In most cases, we will be able to complete service by the end of the next business day. Some weather conditions, such as major flooding or significant fresh snowfall may prevent us from cleaning because we cannot see the waste. In these cases, we may postpone service until conditions improve or cancel the service call. If snow stays on the ground for more than a few days, but there is no new snow to cover your pet's waste, we will do regular cleanups to prevent excessive accumulation. When conditions prevent us from cleaning, we will credit your account one half the standard rate for the missed visit. Your pet does not stop producing waste during severe weather conditions and that waste does not go away. When we are able to return to clean the yard, there will be more waste than usual and, in most cases, that waste will be more difficult to clean due to the weather. However, we will NOT charge you any extra for this additional work. In some cases, we may be able to see the waste but not be able to remove it. Waste frozen solidly to the ground and waste reduced to sludge by flooding are two examples. We will clean that waste on the next scheduled visit when conditions allow. Customers who suspend service during severe weather will be subject to an additional fee to cover the expense of cleaning the accumulated waste when service is reinstated.
12. Is your service offered year-round?
Yes! Our pet waste removal service is year-round. We scoop when it’s cold, hot, raining, and even when it snows. If we cancel your scheduled service date due to severe or inclement weather, we’ll be out on your next scheduled service date or sooner to scoop the poop. And if we miss any poop due to snow cover, leaves on the ground, or tall grass, we will be there on our next service date to pick up any missed poop.
