Hi, I’m Courtney Elliot, owner of Pet Butler in the Smyrna, Georgia area. Since 1988, Pet Butler has been #1 in the #2 business! Pet Butler currently provides dog poop service across hundreds of yards each week in the Smyrna area.

There are several reasons why people sign up for pet waste removal services. They are busy with work, kids and other life events, the weather deters them (it’s too hot or too cold) or the most popular reason: it’s disgusting and some owners do not want to waste time picking up the pet waste in their yard.

With our regularly scheduled dog poop clean-up, your yard, pet’s feet and your home will be poop-free. It couldn’t be any easier to sign-up with our reliable and affordable pet poop cleanup and disposal service.

From dog poop scooping service, commercial pet waste removal service and service notification alerts, we take pride in our commitment to making residential yards and commercial properties cleaner and safer to walk and play in.

For your pet & yard’s protection, a disinfectant spray is used on our tools and shoes between each yard to prevent spreading common diseases such as Heartworm, Parvo and Hookworms. Check out our Wellness Guide at the menu bar to learn more.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.
How much does the pooper scooper service cost?
Cost of services is based on the number of dogs, the last time your yard was scooped and the frequency of our visits. Services are billed monthly, and you can pay online. Call us at (678) 745-5996 or fill out the form for a FREE PERSONALIZED QUOTE!
2.
Do I have to be home for the service?
No, you do not have to be home while our technician cleans your yard. We can perform the service as long as we can access your yard. Please contact us at (678) 745-5996 if you do have a locked gate or a code is needed for entrance.
3.
What happens when the technician arrives?
When your technician arrives, they will scoop up and bag all pet waste. Next, your technician will shut your gate securely and remove all of the dog waste when they leave (unless transporting pet waste is against local ordinances in which case we will double bag it, tie off the bag and leave it wherever you would like such as in your outside trash can).
4.
Can my dog be in the yard while Pet Butler is working?
We love dogs! If your dog is friendly with strangers and will allow us to clean the yard, feel free to leave your dog out while we clean your yard. However, if your dog is territorial or unfriendly, please keep your dog indoors until your service has been completed. We do not want to take any unnecessary risks, so please keep this important request in mind.
5.
Should I unlock my gate?
Yes, gates must be unlocked. For safety reasons, we will not climb or jump over any gates or fences. If your gate has a combination lock, please contact us at (678) 745-5996 and inform us of the combination or passkey prior to your first service. If your gate is locked or blocked (or if your dog will not allow us to clean the yard), it may be necessary to charge for the service that could not be completed.
6.
What if I have any questions related to my service, need to provide updated information such as a new pet or I need to notify Pet Butler that I’m moving?
If you have any questions related to your service, updates to your contact information or if you are adding another dog to your family, let us know as soon as possible by calling us at (678) 745-5996, and we will update your account.
7.
How is my service day availability determined?
Our routing system determines the best day of service based on your address.
8.
Does dog or yard size affect the cost of pet waste removal services?
Dog size does not matter. From Great Danes to Chihuahuas, we scoop it all and are up for the challenge. After your first visit, if applicable, Pet Butler will notify you if you have an “oversized yard”. Cost of poop scooping services is based on the number of dogs, the last time your yard was scooped and the frequency of our visits.
9.
Is there a first-time or new sign-up cleanup fee?
An Accumulated Waste Fee will be incurred if the yard has not been thoroughly cleaned within 1 week upon inspection at your first visit.
10.
What if I want to move or skip a service day?
If you need to move or skip a service day, please call (678) 745-5996 two days before your service date. Whether you’re going on vacation or the dog won’t be home, we will pause service. We will scoop your yard on the next scheduled visit or when you let us know to continue service.
11.
What happens if it rains, snows or there’s inclement weather on my service day?
Pet Butler will continue to service your yard throughout the year. Doing so will keep your yard waste free and help maintain a healthier environment for you and your pet. We monitor the weather closely and do our best to get to your yard before any severe weather occurs. Our techs will work during the rain, but heavy rainfall and thunderstorms may prevent us from scooping. If there are any changes in schedules or cancellations due to inclement weather, we will notify you via email.

Spring brings a lot of rain and fast-growing grass. To best service you, we request you to mow regularly to ensure all pet waste is picked up. Unfortunately, tall grass can make scooping tough.

No refunds are issued due to inclement weather; that just means we have double the poop to scoop on your next scheduled visit. If weather permits, we will remove all the missed waste on your next visit at no additional charge. Please remember our service is guaranteed. That means we will come back out if you are not satisfied with our service.
12.
Is your service offered year-round?
Yes! Our pet waste removal service is year-round. We scoop when it’s cold, hot, raining and even when it snows. If we cancel your scheduled service date due to severe or inclement weather, we’ll be out on your next scheduled service date or sooner to scoop the poop. And if we miss any poop due to snow cover, leaves on the ground or tall grass, we will be there on our next service date to pick up any missed poop.
1.
Are your workers trained and insured?
Pet Butler employees are trained, bonded and insured (including worker’s compensation) pet waste technicians. Our training process means we protect you legally, but we don’t stop there. Each day our technicians are sent out in identifiable trucks and clothing pointing you and your tenants to the fact you are working with a professional, reputable organization.
2.
How often do you scoop the poop?
We scoop dog poop anytime you need it. Our most popular dog waste removal schedules are twice-per-week and once-a-week. Three times a week and every-other-week are also quite popular for pet waste removal services.
3.
Does Pet Butler rake or move leaves in the fall to find poop?
No, we are here to service your yard the best way possible. We only scoop poop that we see. We recommend you blow away or bag leaves 3-5 times during the fall leaf season so we can effectively scoop the poop.
