How do we arrange pet sitting or dog walking for our dog?
Prior to pet sitting, we require a “meet & greet” consultation for each pet with the pet owner. Once the initial consultation is completed, you can call to schedule pet sitting at any time! What are the visiting hours?
Every effort will be made to schedule visits at approximately the same time apart. If there is a need to schedule a specific time for your pets, please discuss this with Pet Butler. We will come to your home based on your requested time frame. We offer morning visits before 10 a.m., mid-day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and evening visits after 2 p.m. We are available on weekends all day plus special requests on overnights and holidays. Holiday visits include Easter, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Day, New Years Eve, and July 4th.

What are the requirements?
Please remember to leave more than an adequate amount of food, litter, treats, leashes, etc. for your pets needs. There will be a $10 fee in addition to expenses incurred if Pet Butler Pet Sitting and Dog Walking needs to pick up supplies for your pet. For security reasons, please notify Pet Butler Pet Sitting and Dog Walking of anyone having keys to your home. Pet Butler Pet Sitting and Dog Walking will not be held responsible for any damages incurred to your home or pet(s) by other persons on your property. Pet Butler Pet Sitting and Dog Walking will not be held liable for free-roaming outdoor pet(s) (i.e. cats) in the event of illness, injury, loss or death. It is strongly advised that all pets wear an ID tag with a contact number and that they will remain inside the home or confined for their own safety and welfare in your absence.

Are your pet sitters and dog walkers trained and insured?
Pet Butler Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers are trained, bonded and insured including worker’s compensation. Our training process means we protect you legally, but we don’t stop there. Our pet sitters and dog walkers are dog lovers and treat each and every pet as their own. Our Pet Butler pet sitters and dog walkers understand the responsibility they have in caring for your furry friend, and want you to be at ease knowing that your pet is in good hands.

What if my dog has an emergency?
In the event that a pet appears to be ill, injured, or at significant risk of experiencing a medical problem at the start of service or while in our care, you give us permission to seek veterinary service from your veterinarian or a veterinary clinic. Your preferred veterinary services will be taken into consideration, however other veterinarians or emergency care clinics chosen by us are acceptable by you.

What if I need to cancel pet sitting and dog walking service?
We know things happen and situations arise that require cancellation. There is no charge for cancellations 48+ hours prior to pet sitting and dog walking.

9.

What if Pet Butler has to cancel?
In the event of a personal emergency or illness of your pet sitter, we will attempt to reschedule another technician so as not to interrupt your pet sitting services. Pet Butler reserves the right not to accept a dog to watch for any reason. At our discretion we may stop and end service at any time for a pet that poses a danger to the safety or health of itself, other pets, other people, or the pet sitter/dog walker. If concerns prevent the pet sitter from continuing service for a pet, you authorize the pet to be placed in a kennel, or previously arranged locale if possible. All subsequent charges, including but not limited to shuttle, kenneling, tranquilizing, treating, accessing, and liability, are to be the responsibility of the pet owner. Depending on the circumstances you may or may not be charged for your pet sitting services and dog walking.
